MARRIAGE LICENSE!!
You can apply for your marriage license in any Florida County.  
You must obtain your own marriage license in person, and you
must have a Florida marriage license to get married in Florida.  In
some counties you can start the process on-line, but you must
pick up the license in person.  There are no blood test
requirements in the State of Florida.  


State of Florida residents:  There is a three-day waiting period.  To
waive the three day waiting period, you can complete a premarital
course and you will not have to wait three days (the license fee
will also be reduced).

Out of State residents:  If both the bride AND the groom are not
residents of the State of Florida, there is NO waiting period.



As of January 2009, the fee for a Florida Marriage License is $93.50* The
marriage license is good for 60 days from the date of issuance.  
Regardless of which Florida County you receive your license is, you
wedding ceremony may take place anywhere in the State of Florida.  

After your wedding ceremony, your marriage license will be filled out and
mailed in to the County  of issuance to be recorded.  You will receive your
recorded copy in the mail from the Florida County.  Once you receive the
recorded copy, you can start the process of changing your name.
